Our spiritual journey began in 2010 after a soul-searching year of multiple failed attempts at in vitro fertilization. Feeling deflated, we decided that we needed a vacation that could lift our spirits. Highlighted by a visit to Machu Picchu, Strabo Tour’s “Peru Photo Tour” fit all of our needs with respect to itinerary, date, and price.

 

Our trip to Machu Picchu, and Peru in general, was nothing short of life-changing and lifesaving. We are incredibly grateful to our fearless photo guide, the late John Weiss, and our incredible group of new friends (Christine, Jerry, Lauren, Ronnie, Deb, Rosemary, Doris, Angela, and Laurel) for sharing this experience with us.

 

International travel photography has since become a passion for us. It connects us to the people of the world. It broadens our horizons. It fills our soul with joy and wonderment. It reassures us that we are not alone, and that the cultures, values, spiritual beliefs, love, and hopes and fears of people of all world nationalities are not so different from our very own.
